Acadia Healthcare and Lutheran Health Network of Indiana on Thursday announced a joint venture to build a behavioral health hospital that will serve Fort Wayne, Indiana, and its surrounding counties.

The $45 million, 120-bed facility will offer outpatient and inpatient treatment for adults, seniors and adolescents with mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD, and it is slated to open in Spring 2022.

Acadia operates a network of 227 behavioral health facilities across 40 states and Puerto Rico, with a combined capacity of 9,900 beds and 70,000 daily patients. Lutheran Health Network works with more than 800 physicians and advanced practice providers at more than 100 access points, including acute care hospitals, specialty hospitals, physician offices, urgent care clinics and outpatient centers in northeastern Indiana.
