Sober College acquires San Diego outpatient organization

Sober College, which operates a Los Angeles addiction treatment center for young adults pursuing recovery and an education, last week announced that it has acquired San Diego Student Recovery, an organization that provides intensive outpatient, outpatient and sober-living services for the same age group.
A news release from Sober College indicates that the San Diego area is ideal for its treatment services because there are five main colleges within a 15-mile radius of San Diego Student Recovery. Mindi Levins-Pfeifer will serve as San Diego Student Recovery's chief clinical officer.
Sober College Environments, LLC, also operates a School of Addiction Studies in Los Angeles for professional education.
