Decision Point radio spots feature Alice Cooper
Rock legend Alice Cooper, who famously has talked of having replaced an alcohol addiction more than three decades ago with a golf addiction, has recorded several voice-overs for radio spots for Decision Point Center in his home state of Arizona.
A 12-week radio schedule during which Cooper will speak on the Prescott-based facility's behalf will air on KSLX-FM in Phoenix, the classic rock station that broadcasts Cooper's evening radio show. According to Psynchronous Communications, which represents Decision Point, the treatment facility is compensating Cooper for the effort by making a donation to his Solid Rock Teen Center, a faith-based organization that offers a creative outlet for at-risk youths in Arizona.
Decision Point CEO Paul Auchterlonie said in a news release that “given the fact that Alice has walked in the shoes of so many of our clients and is living an amazing second life in recovery, we couldn't ask for a better person to help us share our message.”
