President Trump, First Lady to Address Attendees at Rx Summit

President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will address attendees of the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit next Wednesday in Atlanta, organizers of the Summit announced Tuesday morning.

Founded in 2012, the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit represents the largest national gathering of professionals from “federal to family” – local, state and, federal agencies, public health officials, business executives, academia, treatment providers, advocates, law enforcement, and family members working to find solutions that address the prescription drug abuse and misuse epidemic. The meeting, which is projected to draw 3,500 attendees this year, is produced by HMP Global, a leader in healthcare events and education, along with educational advisor Operation UNITE.

Notable speakers in past years have included President Barack Obama in 2016, Congressmen Patrick Kennedy and Newt Gingrich in 2017, and President Bill Clinton and Counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway in 2018.
