Gambling Groups Partner on Advocacy and Education

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has fortified its efforts in policy and program advocacy by forming a collaboration with gambling harm minimization consultant EPIC Risk Management.

NCPG and EPIC will collaborate on initiatives of advocacy, training and education around problem gambling. EPIC has worked globally with numerous fields that are at risk of widespread problems around gambling, from professional sports to financial services to the armed forces.

“They provide best-in-class programs and training in the U.K. and across Europe and we are eager to learn from their experience and share our insights into the unique U.S. gambling market and healthcare system,” NCPG Executive Director Keith Whyte said of EPIC in a news release.

EPIC also announced this year that it is collaborating with sports betting group GVC Holdings on efforts to reduce gambling-related harms in the U.S.
